While most of our events are hosted in Perth, the RSE Project does travel to regional WA. Please contact us if you would like to discuss a customised presentation. All services are provided at no charge, however we may require some assistance for intrastate travel.
We also provide webinars so that you can connect with us online. Videos and PowerPoint slides from some of our past events can also be accessed via the GDHR website.
Finally, if you work at remote or regional school in Western Australia and wish to attend one of our two-day workshops, we can subsidise teaching relief costs and cover all travel expenses as long as two or more staff attend.
Absolutely! Email or call us to chat about what topic you’re teaching about and we will advise some evidence-based, inclusive and practical resources or activities that can assist you. If we can not help with a certain topic, we can put you in touch with someone who can help.
If a presentation is outside of our scope of funding there may be a cost. This will be decided and communicated once the outline of required training has been discussed.
Yes, we can do this however often our first point of call is to make sure the local providers have been approached or invited to speak.
Beyond this, the RSE Project is often invited to speak at national events/podcasts about the broader themes and challenges of RSE in school settings. If you would like to ask a staff member to speak at an event, please email rseproject@curtin.edu,au directly. We will then assign the best placed staff member to respond and present.
The RSE Project can present about any topic related to RSE – which is a very broad topic! Please find a BRIEF list below on some presentation topic options however please be aware that we can tailor topics as requested:
