Training & Events

The RSE Project provides a wide variety of professional development opportunities to anyone working in Western Australian schools. This includes two-day workshops, after-school seminars, webinars, symposiums and tertiary education units. We cover a broad range of topics, all related to relationships and sexuality education (RSE).

Please visit our Humanitix page to view our current and past events.

Recordings of past events including after-school webinars and our Symposia are hosted on our YouTube channel. Our YouTube channel also holds a playlist of 13 videos created by Western Australian Educators, showcasing examples of RSE implementation within their school sites.

Thanks to funding from the WA Department of Health, most of our events are free or offered at very low cost. For some events, we are also able to subsidise teaching relief expenses.

Want something customised?

The RSE Project would be happy to work with you to provide a presentation or workshop that meets the specific needs of your school. We can attend staff development days or provide private sessions. All services are provided at no charge, subject to capacity.

Not based in the metro area?

Whilst most of our events are hosted in Perth, the RSE Project does travel to regional WA. Please contact us if you would like to discuss a customised presentation. All services are provided at no charge, however we may require some assistance for intrastate travel.

We also provide webinars so that you can connect with us online. Videos and PowerPoint slides from some of our past events can also be accessed via the GDHR website.

Finally, if you work at remote or regional school in Western Australia and wish to attend one of our two-day workshops, we can subsidise teaching relief costs and cover all travel expenses as long as two or more staff attend.

After something else?

The RSE Project is happy to answer any questions you may have in relation to the delivery of relationships and sexuality education in WA schools. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
